Painting Trips and Tuition at Glenaros Lodge
Enhance your stay at Glenaros Lodge - take a trip on the wild side or brush up your skills with your host Fae Cameron . Fae has been painting Mull and her surrounding islands since childhood and shares her intimate knowledge of her home area and her purpose built studio.
Coming from a family of artists, Fae did her foundation year at Bath School of Art and has a BA Hons in fine art from London Guildhall University. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of plein air painting and also etching and print making back at her studio. Instagram fine.art.fae
Trips Out The light and colours of the West Coast are a constantly changing delight and the scenery nothing short of magnificent. Trips out are carefully chosen, always with an eye on the weather, and the level of adventure can be dialled up or down as demand dictates. Above all painters enjoy learning and exploring together in a relaxed, friendly and affirming environment. Non painters are welcome too as there is always plenty to see and enjoy.
Tuition Take time to enjoy an encouraging session for an hour or two with a dedicated artist in her studio or garden overlooking the Aros estuary.
The new studio at Glenaros Lodge is a creative hub and a useful base for visiting painters. With natural light from the North and a stunning view of the Aros estuary, the studio has a small etching press, kitchenette and is insulated for year round use.

Tariff and small print for painting trips and tuition
Trips may not be available, are weather dependant and can be cancelled without notice
Trips are charged at £120 for a minimum of 4 hours inc. travel time and this charge can be split between up to 3 people including non painters. There is no additional charge for tuition during trips out.
Fuel for vehicles and any boats is charged at cost
Tuition in the studio/ garden is charged at £30/ hr and any materials used charged at cost. This charge can be split between up to 3 people
Painters have free use of the studio space on the days they have booked a trip or tuition. Other days are charged at £10/ day. Heating from October - March is charged at cost
